Intense Ultra applies high-intensity focused ultrasound for lifting and firmness while also working on tone, using a set of cartridges that place energy at different depths. The principle is the same family as Ultherapy; the difference is access. Ultherapy Prime carries real-time DeepSEE imaging and is the premium option where the physician wants to see the tissue layer before each line. Intense Ultra reaches for the same mechanism at a lower entry point, which is why it is generally where a first-time ultrasound patient starts.
Sessions run 30–40 minutes after anaesthetic cream, with the cartridge and energy chosen from the skin assessment on the day. There is no downtime; redness or a warm, tingling sensation settles within hours. Change develops over one to three months and reads at its clearest between three and six months, so a repeat interval of six months to a year is usual. Sauna, alcohol and hard exercise are avoided for a week afterwards, sunscreen is applied daily, and any implant or metal fixture is disclosed before treatment.
