Absorbable threads that reposition tissue and stimulate collagen along the vector. At Forever Clinic Myeongdong, one minute on foot from Euljiro 1-ga Station (Line 2).
Where the thread enters and where it anchors determines whether the lift reads as natural or as pulled. The vector is drawn on the face and confirmed before any insertion.
More threads is not automatically better. The count is set against the degree of descent, and the number used is disclosed.
Most patients see the lift maintained for roughly 12 to 18 months. The threads themselves dissolve within months; what remains is the collagen response along the thread path.
Absorbable threads that reposition tissue and stimulate collagen along the vector.
| Korean name | 실리프팅 |
|---|---|
| Device | Absorbable PDO / cone-type threads |
| Regulatory status | MFDS-approved absorbable sutures |
| Depth | Subcutaneous, along a planned vector |
| Session | 30–60 minutes |
| Downtime | Mild swelling or tenderness for a few days |
| Anaesthesia | Local anaesthetic |
| Price | From ₩79,000 per thread (MINT · Jamber) · MINT 8 threads ₩590,000 · unlimited ₩990,000 |

A thread lift repositions descended tissue mechanically. Absorbable threads are placed along a planned vector and drawn upward; as they dissolve over the following months they stimulate collagen along the thread path, so part of the effect persists after the material itself is gone. It suits descent that energy-based lifting alone cannot pull far enough.
Bipolar radiofrequency for the lower face and jawline contour.
| Korean name | 인모드 |
|---|---|
| Device | InMode® (FORMA / FX handpieces) |
| Regulatory status | MFDS-approved medical device |
| Depth | Dermal and subdermal |
| Session | 20–30 minutes |
| Downtime | None |
| Anaesthesia | None required |
| Price | From ₩55,000 (FX, one area) · FX full face ₩79,000 · FX + FORMA ₩189,000 |

InMode applies bipolar radiofrequency with temperature control, most commonly to the lower face and jawline. It is a lower-intensity treatment than focused ultrasound and is typically used as a repeated course rather than a single session.
Microwave energy targeting localised fat and skin laxity together.
| Korean name | 온다리프팅 |
|---|---|
| Device | Onda® (DEKA) — Coolwaves microwave |
| Regulatory status | MFDS-approved medical device |
| Depth | Subcutaneous fat and dermal layer |
| Session | 20–40 minutes |
| Downtime | None — normal activity immediately |
| Anaesthesia | None required |
| Price | From ₩240,000 (30 kJ) · 60 kJ ₩450,000 · 100 kJ ₩690,000 |

Onda uses microwave energy tuned to be absorbed selectively by subcutaneous fat while also warming the dermis. It occupies a useful middle position: less aggressive than focused ultrasound, but capable of addressing small pockets of fat that lifting devices alone do not reach — the lower face and jowl area in particular.
Dual-frequency HIFU at 4MHz and 7MHz, matched to the zone being treated.
| Korean name | 듀오타이트 |
|---|---|
| Device | Duotite® dual-frequency HIFU |
| Regulatory status | Device certification held at the clinic and shown on request |
| Depth | Dermis to SMAS — 4MHz broad delivery, 7MHz focal delivery |
| Session | 30–40 minutes by area and shot count |
| Downtime | None — washing and make-up the same day |
| Anaesthesia | Topical cream |
| Price | From ₩150,000 (100 shots) · 300 shots ₩400,000 · 600 shots ₩700,000 |

Duotite delivers high-intensity focused ultrasound into the dermis and the SMAS, forming thermal coagulation points at 60–70°C. The heat contracts aged collagen immediately and starts a remodelling response that continues afterwards. What separates it from a single-frequency device is the pair of handpieces: 4MHz spreads energy broadly across an area, 7MHz concentrates it on a smaller field, so the same face can be treated differently zone by zone rather than at one fixed setting.
